This paper discusses an intermediate water gravity wavelength and wave height measurement method. Three methods were used to obtain height, wavelength, period. Firstly, conventional two Honeywell pressure sensors mounted at the bottom of tank different locations. Secondly, using transfer function flap wavemaker (the relationship between paddle stroke). Thirdly, Laser Sheet technique (PIV image processing technique). The significant period from reading regular waves obtained Raleigh distribution Zero up crossing technique. Wavelength was indirectly by a dispersion that solved Newton Raphson numerical method both wavemaker. experiment focused on getting direct value measurements developing in clear large flume replace eliminate error may produce methods. PIV setup with CCD camera capture images. based Canny edge detection constant threshold detect waves. experimental result showed good agreement results these three methods, percent 8.683%.
